Hi! I’m Maren, and I’m the Head Editor and the News Editor of the Voyager. I’ve been with the Voyager for almost 4 years now, and I love being able to write about things that interest me. Outside of the newspaper, I am also on yearbook, chess club, scholastic bowl, and I do fencing. I hope to go to college and one day become a diplomat.

The words he spoke and the message he stood for raised confidence and awareness for an entire generation to fight for equality. By celebrating his life every year, we’re keeping his message alive that represents the hardships African Americans went through and the ongoing fight for equality.”
