CHICAGO – The City of Chicago has cancelled the Saint Patrick’s Day Parade and the traditional dye of the river green due to concerns over the Coronavirus. State officials are advising residents, especially the elderly, to avoid large crowds and events. However, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker is leaving celebration decisions up to local governments.
