Rockford International Airport will soon be improved with $2.7 million dollar grant
ROCKFORD – The U.S. The Department of Transportation has provided $2.7 million to the Chicago Rockford International Airport for general improvements. This is part of a $90 million grant to Illinois airports, and a near $520 million grant to airports all across the continental United States. The goal for these federal grants are to make airports more functionable and more comfortable.
