This is Mr. Lavar Johnson’s first year teaching at Guildford in the P.E. Department.

   “If I was to switch careers I would be a professional football player,” Mr. Johnson said. 

   On a scale of 1-10, Mr. Johnson would rate the challenge of teaching at GHS as an 8.

   “I’m still learning new stuff everyday,” he said. “If it wasn’t for the  administrators, I wouldn’t be in the position I’m in today.

   Mr. Johnson’s favorite parts of teaching include seeing students grow within P.E and remembering their names because there are so many. 

   Outside of school, Mr Johnsons like coaching and being a father.

    “I appreciate y’all and appreciate being interviewed by y’all,” he stated.
