WASHINGTON – Following the rapidly escalating tensions between the United States and Iran, The U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo made a statement Wednesday addressing Iran before boarding a flight to Saudi Arabia. Mr. Pompeo stated that officials in Washington are prepared to negotiate “anytime”, but the behavior regarding this issue needs to change “fundamentally”. He also declares that the United States will pursue a campaign with “maximum pressure”.

“We are not rushed, the pressure campaign continues. It’s not just an economic pressure campaign… it’s isolation through diplomacy as well” said Pompeo.
