Bianca Hernandez, Freshman: “If I have an A in the class and I do bad on a test, it’ll bring it (the grade) down to a C. It brings your grade really far down. How are you supposed to bring it back up with just assignments? I mean, you can bring it up with another test grade, but it’ll be hard if you do bad on that test too. They should change the grading system to 50% tests and 50% assignments so it can be easier on students.”
How Has the New Grading Policy Affected You?
Jose Martinez, Freshman: “My favorite lunch food is nachos with cheese because they’re my favorite thing to eat.”
What's your favorite cafeteria food?
Jalia Thompson, Sophomore: “Im working at the park district this summer. I work five days a week, the pay is 14 dollars an hour.”
What are your summer job plans?
Samantha Navarro, Freshman: “I got Mrs. Dev a gift because she is a great teacher and she’s the only one I got close with and had a connection with out of all the teachers this year, I just feel safe and cozy in her class.”
