You’re sitting in class, and suddenly you hear over the P.A system that you need to evacuate the class. What is going on?

   The bathrooms have been flooded.

   Again. 

   In the past few weeks, on several different occasions, the bathrooms have been flooded by a so far uncaptured culprit, or culprits.

   First, it was the bathrooms by the cafeteria lunch line, then it was the upstairs bathroom by the auditorium. Shortly after that, the downstairs bathroom by the auditorium was flooded. It’s ridiculous that people would disrupt others’ days for something so juvenile!

   It’s not just students who are annoyed with the trouble the bathroom bubblers cause. 

   “I think the cause is irresponsible students!” said Mrs. Anja Knuth, Service Academy Office Professional. “I’m very disappointed.” 

   Everyone in the building has to adapt how they learn, work, and commute due to the floods. Many hallways, entrances/exits, and classrooms have been blocked off to students and staff. But why would anyone want to do such a thing?

   “I think the motive is to get better bathrooms.” said Kyle Knuth, sophomore, “. . . but Guilford isn’t doing anything about it!” 

   Some students are trying to think outside the box when it comes to the cause of the flooding spree. Those same students are trying to blame the staff for the recklessness of the students. However, when you think about it, what is GHS doing to stop, or at least contain our bathroom bandits?

   “They close down the hallway to contain the mess,” said Amber Chance, sophomore, “Officials are asking around and we all think it’s kids just messing around.” 

   Everyone is annoyed. If you’re reading this, flooding fools, take it as a message to stop, please.
