Mr. Todd Eisele: Wood Shop
This is Mr.Todd Eisele’s first experience teaching at the high school level. He teaches wood shop classes.
“I’ve been teaching for 31 years, starting my career at Eisenhower, where I taught math for sixteen years,” said Mr. Eisele. “I then moved to the elementary level teaching P.E. and was at Cherry Valley Elementary before transferring here.”
Adjusting to working with and managing 14- to 18-year-olds is very different than 5-to-10-year-olds, Mr. Eisele explained.
“I have a passion for woodworking and building, so when an opening came available to teach fabrication and construction, I saw it as a great opportunity to pass on a skill I thought could help prepare students for a successful life after high school,” he said.
Mr. Eisele and his wife Darci enjoy running together. They also rescue sheep and own a sheep hobby farm. They own dairy sheep, which they milk. His wife then uses the milk to make lotion and soap that they sell at a few stores and at farmers’ markets.
