Mrs. Sule Bertram: Science
Ms. Sule Bertram began her career as a science researcher in a virology lab at the University of Toronto collaborating with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources to design and test vaccines for rabies. She currently teaches science at GHS.
“I also had a side business, a jewelry store selling gold and diamonds,” she said.
Ms. Bertram taught at Auburn for one year then at Harlem for twenty years before transferring to Guilford.
“I felt that I was no longer growing at my previous job and I needed new challenges, and wanted to meet new people,” stated Ms.Bertram.
Some interests Ms.Bertram has outside of teaching include reading, traveling, Korean drama series and other foreign programming, and discussion groups.
“I hope to bring my philosophy of learning to students everywhere I go,” she said.
