This is Ms. Wiebe’s 25th year in teaching. She previously taught at Woodstock North High School and Harlem High School. She teaches English as a Second Language (ESL) classes at Guilford, and this is her first time teaching the subject.

   “I hope that students know that I will listen and support them,” Ms. Wiebe said. “I will do my best to advocate for them in whatever ways I can.”

   Ms. Weibe lived in Japan for two years and is still studying Japanese.

   “I love learning and experiencing new cultures,” said Ms. Wiebe.

   After high school and before Ms. Wiebe went to college she was a travel agent for two years.

   “GHS is different because of all the resources that are available to students,” she said.

   She would like to continue building on her relationships with staff and students.

   “Now that I know the activities offered by the school and district, I would like to get more involved,” she stated.
