What's on Your Mind?

Alesandra DeLeon, sophomore: “I’m so excited for the school year to end because I am excited to live my life and not have to worry about stuff, mainly school.”

How do you feel about the school year almost ending?

Alicia Lopez, Sophomore: “It's really hard because losing an hour of sleep makes me realize how good I had it before Daylight Savings Time.”

How has Daylight Savings Time affected you?

Mykell Reynolds: “I plan to stay in Rockford and get a good paying job. I wish to get my own apartment and have a stable amount of income so I can live comfortably on my own. I also want to start a clothing business, I don't know what that consists of for now I just have a dream.”

Class of ’24: What are your plans after high school?

Mr. Emilio Rodriguez, Science Teacher: “I usually get a black hot coffee or a cinnamon dolce grande.”

What is your favorite Starbucks drink?

Bianca Hernandez, Freshman: “If I have an A in the class and I do bad on a test, it’ll bring it (the grade) down to a C. It brings your grade really far down. How are you supposed to bring it back up with just assignments? I mean, you can bring it up with another test grade, but it’ll be hard if you do bad on that test too. They should change the grading system to 50% tests and 50% assignments so it can be easier on students.”
