BELVIDERE – The Summerfield Zoo, a Belvidere staple, is returning Friday, November 13th to once again bring Christmas cheer to the stateline! Attractions will include Santa’s Reindeer Barn, complete with a fleet of Reindeer to ferry the famous red blob of Holiday cheer. 

The event will be safely orchestrated with regards to the prevention of the spread of the novel coronavirus. For instance, Santa Claus will be available for socially distanced visits and pictures, and the rest of the event will be socially distanced and require the wearing of an appropriate mask.

Can’t make it Friday? The zoo will be open from November 13th to December 20th on Friday’s only from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M., and on Saturdays and Sundays between 10:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. Miss those dates as well? It will also be open closer to the Christmas holiday frenzy as well on December 21st, 22nd, and 23rd between 10:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M.
