Daylight savings time may be eliminated in Illinois, multiple lawmakers propose
ROCKFORD – Rockford lawmakers are trying to eliminate daylight savings in Illinois. They say that the hour jump forward was originally made to help farmers around 100 years ago, and that now it isn’t necessary. They also claim that waking up early due to the time change can cause multiple health problems.
