ROCKFORD – The gas prices have once again fluctuated, this time lowering over one cent making the average price per gallon $2.45. This drop in price was not contained within the stateline, however, with prices falling nationwide as far as 6 cents bringing the average price per gallon to $2.41. This drop in price is occuring due to the recent outbreak of COVID-19, A.K.A. Coronavirus, causing investors in the oil market to panic.
