SPRINGFIELD- An Illinois lawmaker is looking to widen the possibilities for aspiring journalists in Illinois. A bill has been put into place to establish a 10 man Local Journalism Task Force to support the shrinking community of local journalism.  For small towns. If the law is passed, the Task force would need to submit a study on communities to the governor’s office and the General Assembly in Springfield.
