ROCKFORD – Residents banded together to save Rockford’s oldest Golf course, the Sinnissippi golf course. The course, struggling with financial viability, has struggled to stay open. Local Rockford residents, however, are fighting to change that. Many people say that the course is a historic pinnacle landmark for Rockford and wouldn’t be the same without it.
